Get ready for a fun evening as Nacogdoches Historic Sites hosts an interactive movie screening of Disney’s The Princess and the Frog on Tuesday, March 11th, at 6:30 PM at the beautiful Zion Hill Historic Site. Thanks to the generous support of White Electric Inc., this event is free for all attendees.
Set in 1920s New Orleans, The Princess and the Frog follows Tiana, a hardworking young woman determined to achieve her dream of opening a restaurant despite numerous challenges. Along the way, an unexpected magical mishap sends her on an adventure through the bayou, where she learns that perseverance, community, and confidence in her abilities are the keys to her success.
Children will become part of the adventure with a bag of interactive items and will be encouraged to sing along with the music, cheer for the heroes, act out scenes, and use their props during key moments of the film. Attendees are also encouraged to dress up to match the movie’s themes—think dazzling princesses, dapper dreamers, or even charming critters of the swamp!
While admission is free, families are asked to RSVP in advance through
Eventbrite.com to ensure enough prop bags are available. Prop bags will be reserved for children ages 12 and under. Families may also RSVP by calling or texting 936-560-4441.
