The Citywide Cleanup Challenge will be an excellent opportunity for citizens to come together and take pride in our community by participating in a friendly competition among the city of Nacogdoches’ four wards.
Individuals and groups are encouraged to pre-register for the event at http://www.keepnacbeautiful.org/ccc. Supplies can be picked up 7-9 a.m. at the Commuter Lot on Stephen F. Austin State University’s campus, across from the William R. Johnson Coliseum. There is also an early pickup option within the registration. All trash bags should be brought to the Coliseum Commuter Lot by noon to be totaled for participation in the challenge.
Household trash, furniture, appliances, electronics, or tires will not be accepted at this event. KNB will supply gloves and bags to participants with a limit of one bag per person and a maximum ten bags per group. Only bags from KNB will be accepted during the trash collection.
