We are excited to be back with our 2nd Annual Chill-y Cookoff! 2nd year = improvements, lessons learned, and WAY more entries but the same AMAZING CHILI!!!!!
The actual Chili event will be from 1-6 PM but stay for live music starting at 6 PM!
To participate in this cookoff, you will need to sign up and register yourself along with your chili ahead of time. Register by clicking the link below as either an "Amateur/Customer" or a "Professional/Restaurant" and submit this form by January 10th!
AMATEUR REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. ONLY PRO SPOTS OPEN! 🙌 (You can sign up as an alternate in case someone drops out. NOT A GUARANTEE.)

Chili Cook-off Date: January 20th, 2024
Registration ends on January 10th, 2024
*Contestant Information:
-Must supply a crock pot (or more) worth of chili & cooked in the crock pot already upon arrival. (Bring an extension cord too)
-Set up window is 12:00-12:45 PM
-The event officially starts at 1 PM.
-Judging will take place at 1:30 PM so plan accordingly with serving sizes.
-Contestants must be pre-registered; no walk-ups will be accepted for the cook-off.
-Fredonia Brewery will provide spoons & bowls for sampling, consumption & judging.
-All ingredients are OK to use, with no restrictions. If you are using ingredients people may be allergic to, please fill it out below in the form AND you will be responsible for making a sign for your station.
-The brewery will provide limited toppings for customers to add to their bowls.
-Contestants are responsible for the clean-up of their station.
-Contestants will need to bring at least 1 extension cord with them.
*Registration Information:
-We are only accepting the first 25 entries total, both Pro and Am.
-You will be notified if you are entered within 24 hours of registration.
*Judging Info:
-Judging will start at 1:30 PM.
-Winners will be announced once the judging has finished.
-There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category (Pro/Am).
-There will also be an overall people's choice award AND best name award!
-The judging will be based on TASTE!
-Specialty condiments/toppings are NOT allowed for judging. I.E: No cornbread, sour cream, etc.
*General Information:
-Jack is the ultimate judge of what chili is & isn't. (As per him)
-We will have both FOOD TRUCK/RESTAURANT aka "PRO" entries & CUSTOMER aka "Amateur" entries.
-We will be setting up under the patio outside this year to have ample space for everyone participating and the attendees.
