Welcome to Fredonia Brewery. Nacogdoches's first micro brewery. We are a kid and pet friendly local brewery that is located downtown, in the oldest town in Texas. Our name originates from the Fredonia Rebellion and the Fredonia Republic 1826-1827, which was the first breaths of Texas. Our town celebrated it's 300th anniversary recently, and we are proud to be the first brewery here since the 1850's.
We are excited to bring craft brewing to the town, community and state that we love. Our brews are "Brewed with the independent spirit that created Texas" which is our motto we believe in.
We brew on a 15 barrel brew house and have four 30 barrel fermenters. Want to know how your favorite beer is made? We will be giving tours of our brew house equipment and on our process of beer making.
On top on having a beautiful brew house, we also have a beautiful tap room that is surrounded by local tongue and groove yellow pine and the bar has a massive timber frame made from local yellow pine beams. The bar top is made from black walnut that was struck by lighten in Nacogdoches county. The taproom extends out onto our covered patio and beer garden. Enjoy sipping a cold one on the patio or under one of our many pergolas in our beer garden on one of our large hand crafted table and benches. We also house a very unique 2400+ can collection that has been collected since 1959 that is displayed behind a glass wall in our tap room. It really is a fun attraction to check out while enjoying a pint of Fredonia Brewery beer.
We have flagship brews on tap year round and some limited and seasonal brews throughout the year. We have a brew for everyone. We even have Root Beer for the non-drinkers and kiddos. All of our brews are named after something that resembles our great city, Nacogdoches.
Banita Blonde - American Blonde 5.2% ABV
9 Flags Amber - American Amber 6.3% ABV
Bull Pine Pale - American Pale 6.3% ABV
Angry Axe IPA - India Pale 6.4% ABV
Pine Cove Porter - Porter 6.1% ABV
What goes great with craft beer? Great food! Make sure you bring your thirst and appetite because we will have local food trucks/vendors for you to enjoy. Each food truck/vendor will be different and unique to one another. What goes with great food and great hand crafted beer? Music. We will try to have live local music for you to enjoy too.
