The space

Welcome to the Old Mize Loft, a historic loft space in a historic building located in the heart of downtown Nacogdoches, Texas! The loft was formerly The Mize Department Store, which served the community for 82 years, offering high-end clothing options for men, women, and children.

The loft boasts an eclectic/unique/artistic aesthetic, featuring local artists' works and historical building memorabilia. You'll love the wonderful sunrise and sunset views from the veranda, and the proximity to the brick streets adds to the charm of this beautiful space. The loft is also conveniently located near SFA, the Azalea Trails, and a perfect spot to land during many local events.

The loft has a spacious, open concept, and includes all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. This includes a fully stocked kitchen with a range, microwave, dishwasher, and coffeemaker. Towels and linens are provided, and the loft includes WiFi throughout.

The loft consists of 2 bedrooms, both featuring a queen bed and flat screen TV. The master bathroom has a walk-in shower and dual vanities, while the guest bathroom has a bathtub and shower. There is also a separate half bathroom off of the living space making this the perfect and comfortable location for four persons.

Complimentary parking is available, and we expect guests to respect the property and other guests by keeping the loft clean and noise levels low.
Hosts will be available by phone and nearby most of the time if any situation should occur. Before check-in, guests will receive directions on how to enter the property, contact numbers, and additional necessary information.

Pets, smoking, parties, and loud music are strictly prohibited.
